Lincoln Park AngelsThe Lincoln Park Angels are a town based fastpitch travel softball program featuring teams playing at the 10U, 12U and 14U levels. Based out of Lincoln Park, New Jersey, we are supported by our parent organization, the Lincoln Park Police Athletic League (PAL) and the PAL’s recreation softball program. The Angels hold a try-out each year for Lincoln Park girls where veteran players are given first consideration. “Once An Angel, Always An Angel!” Our mission as a travel softball organization is to focus on and develop fundamentals, teamwork and sportsmanship, to develop our girls’ skills in a fun environment, and to provide the players with an opportunity to experience a higher level of play in an environment that is full of encouragement and fun. The success of our program relies on the incredible commitment and dedication of every player, coach and parent that is a part of our Angels family. Our success is measured by fielding teams that play to their fullest potential as we create memories and experiences that our girls will carry for a lifetime. We prize most the individual growth and development of our girls as players, team members, and individuals. Angels HistoryThe Lincoln Park Angels fastpitch travel softball program was formed in 2003 with just a 10U team that had never before seen competitive softball. In 2004, that same 10U team won both their spring and summer travel leagues and began playing in competitive fastpitch tournaments around New Jersey. That same year the Angels program fielded its first 12U team. By 2006, the Lincoln Park Angels program was well established and both the 10U and 12U teams advanced to the semi-finals in their respective leagues, while also continuing to make a name for themselves on the tournament circuit. The Angels program continued to grow in 2007 as their first ever 14U team took the field. That team went on to have the best record in the Tri-County softball league, even though the roster was filled entirely with 12 and 13 year old girls. Also in 2007, the Angels hosted their first annual Spring Fever softball tournament. For the 2008 season, the Lincoln Park Angels were a fully matured program and all three teams continue to distinguish themselves with impressive league and tournament records and championships.
